Many people are asking themselves, “How do I deal with all these used cell phones?” Everyone has started with the old “brick” style phone, then upgraded to a “flip” phone, then upgraded to a “camera” phone, and so on.   • Motorola Devour -

    This more affordable cousin of the Droid has a lower-resolution display and 3-megapixel camera, but adds an optical scroll pad on the front and Motorola's BLUR software. Other features of this Android smartphone are similar, including a sliding QWERTY keyboard, GPS navigation, EVDO Rev. A data, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and memory card slot with 8 GB card included.

  • Motorola i410 -

    This basic clamshell iDEN phone replaces the i450 with a thinner design that loses the external antenna while adding Bluetooth and sporting a larger display. Other features include push-to-talk, speakerphone, Java, GPS, voice dialing, and MMS.

  • Nokia N97 mini -

    This cousin of the N97 is smaller and lighter, but has very similar features, including touch display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, and GPS.

  • Palm Pre Plus (CDMA) -

    This minor update to the Pre has more memory and an improved keyboard. This CDMA smartphone runs Palm's WebOS platform, features a finger-touch display with a unique gesture area below, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Other features include EVDO Rev. A data, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3-megapixel camera, and accelerometer for auto-rotation.

  • Samsung Stunt SCH-R100 -

    This basic bar-style CDMA phone is similar to the Spex, but is lighter, steps up to a larger display, and adds MMS and voice dialing. Other features are similar, including Bluetooth and downloadable games, applications, and content.
